All Things Kelly

I am usually completely transparent and  honest with you. But there are a couple of things I may have intentionally not mentioned.  So in the spirit of full disclosure I have a couple of confessions…

A few weeks ago I ended up making this awesome recipe 2 times in the same weekend.  It is a fantastic and easy dessert that doesn’t involve turning on your oven! Perfect for the dog days of summer.

Today’s Friday Funny is more of a Friday interesting. 

I warned you.  Truly, I did all I could.  I gave you statistics.  I talked to you about supporting local agriculture and your local farmer.  We talked carbon footprint. We talked health and flavor.  But you didn’t listen and now you have salmonella from buying sweat shop eggs.   I will be eating raw cookie dough from the bowl this weekend and you will be spending your time on the bowl.  I tell you this stuff because I care about you.  You really should listen to me.

So while we aren’t yet ready for the interior reveals, I decided I should show you the new exterior look for Nevada Ave.

I am happy to announce that Project Colorado, my well documented plan to relocate my friends and family to Colorado, has yet another success story.  My wonderful brother-in-law Eric officially moved to Colorado this weekend!!  And to add to the fun and excitement my fabulous sister-in-law Brooke was here to help with the move.  If only she were staying…   Here are some fun photos from our family weekend.

Last year when Kristin and I found my amazing mid-century sofa from Craigslist, the previous owner was nice enough to throw in some extra junk.

Today’s Friday funny is more of an adorable than a ha ha.
