Celebrating Aunt Virginia

DSC_4642This morning I am flying from Chicago to Indy to celebrate the life of my Great Aunt Virginia.  Aunt Virginia has been the matriarch of my mom’s side of the family as long as I can remember.   She smelled like cookies and called everyone “honey.”

She had a way of filling a room with love and calm.  She hugged as if she could squeeze out all your worries and replace them with warm fuzzies.  She was an amazing musician and a beautiful woman both inside and out.  We will miss her greatly.

(sorry that happens when your an only child). You cling to the ones you love the most. Xoxox. I love this post, It just made me smile. 🙂 ‘Love JD
