Beautiful sunny 55 degree day in COS.  I am beginning to think about Spring being right around the corner and I am not the only one.  Apollo the hibernating bear is starting to stir too. 

Leon and I are hanging with the crazies on south beach. While we love the colts fans, let’s just say the folks from New Orleans know how to party in the street!

We made it safely to Indy on Wednesday afternoon, and by Wednesday night Eloise’s bag had finally arrived. 

Little miss Eloise slept from 8:30 last night until we got her up at 3:30 this morning to head to the Airport. So far so good. We made it through security but she did have to take off her shoes. Yeah seriously. They are really more like fancy socks

I have never understood the song Bohemian Rhapsody, until now.  Think it’s strange that I love this version from the muppets?  Enjoy it in the latest 1080p from YouTube. 

I miss a couple of the ditties we sang at St. Monica’s.  I know weird huh.  Imagine my surprise when this Catholic favorite popped up during a recent service.

We all know I am bananas over Etsy.  I love to buy gifts, art, jewelry, pretty much everything and half the fun is the shopping.  The dirty secret is not everything on Etsy is fine art quality, well at least according to any normal standard.  Which brings us to today’s Friday Funny, Regretsy.  Regresty has the tagline, “handmade? It looks like you made it with your feet”  and it highlights some of the ‘special’ pieces for sale on Etsy, along with a side of snide commentary.  Enjoy.  It can be both funny and scary.

As I mentioned before my friend Geri is a super tech wizard.  She is my technology idol.  She organizes her digital pictures, she backs up her computer, she has every app worth having and most recently she introduced Kristin and I to a magic pen.  This pen is amazing and Kristin ran right out and bought us both one.  Kristin uses hers daily.  Mine had yet to be set up.  Does this give you any idea how off the rails my tech situation is?  Geri is working to get me on the wagon.  Enjoy her tech philosphy as she is today’s guest blogger.

Friends I am a little behind this week.  I owe you a couple of posts, but I am literally up to my eyeballs in “to do”  Between getting ready for the Halloween Party, trying to get this computer change over complete (not exactly going well) and having a sick nanny (there is an adorable baby on my office floor right now sound asleep) I have been a little nuts.  So let’s talk about my biggest issue; I am taking my tech for granted.  I must have the latest and greatest but I don’t treat it very well.  In the words of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, these chickens are coming home to roost.  UGH!

Some of you (my husband) didn’t think today’s funny was all that funny.  During our phone conversation I believe he compared it to Family Circus and Chicken Soup for the Soul.  So excuse me for not being my normal sarcastic self today.  Sometimes endearing is funny in a lighthearted jovial way.
